MBTA.com is showing normal service for the Orange Line, but of course they always do. If you believe that, you could probably just as easily click your heels and wish to be where ever you're going.

That bridge has been hit many times by tractor trailers. Once every two weeks at least one tractor trailer gets stuck under there.

Just to update the situtation on the MBTA derailment.
The MBTA will be bringing in a crane between 8-9:00 this evening to aid in the clean-up of the derailed maintenance car at the corners of Medford and Commercial Streets. They have assured us work will be completed by morning and that there is no environmental concern at the accident site but will monitor the situation throughout the night.

The car rolled off the racks and ended up down the embankment behind the houses located rfght after Malden St. The transit police have been their throughout the day, and if it was not for the wild trees growing along the fence area, that truck would have been in the back yard of the houses.
