I wonder how his 401-K is doing. He's probably there just getting his balance. Can't a guy do his bank-business in peace? Geesh

Steve, I haven't seen you post much, so I'm gonna do you a solid, and tell you why some of us think this story is 'somewhat' humorous..........months ago, a ‘convience’ store was robbed on Main St. TWICE! The mayor, in his infinite wisdom, decided it was ‘puff piece’ time, and playing a classic politician, said everything was under control. I do understand that a lot of crime is a random thing, and the police can’t be held responsible for this tuff! They aren’t time travelers, after all! But the fact that he shamelessly dragged the police chief into his ridiculous ‘store-side press conference’ and announced that everything was under control, well, you can see the humor in this statement 7 months later, yes?

Hey paul, mayor Christenson was doing some damage control in the PR area and trying to reassure the public and business owners, after the local media was all over this story of the convenience store being robbed twice and the crime wave affecting Malden at the time. They were broadcasting these news on all the local TV channels, portraying Malden as a war zone like it was 1980's Beirut. What would you have Christenson do? Sit at his desk and do nothing about this situation, like the former mayor Howard? I feel like Christenson is in a no-win situation with certain segments of the population in Malden, damn if he does something, damn if he doesn't.
