Lori I am speaking off the top of my head here but I believe the storm is supposed to begin Friday morning, and just continually pick up intensity as the day goes on. Return commutes are supposed to be awful tomorrow; folks are being advised to stay indoors after noon or so.

That is correct, so to speak. The last train will be leaving Downtown Crossing - not Malden Center - at 3:30pm. Just keep that in mind.

Yes I saw that, that's a civilized decision , otherwise we fans would not have had time to bury out and still get there early enough before game time to enjoy the local watering holes before the game.... Just saying, 50 plus years and still not sober yet... Eccchh. Acccchhh. (For those of you that fondly remember Bill The Cat) .

Why do people wait in huge lines to gas up their cars when they aren't going to be able to go anywhere, just wondering.

Weatherman on TV said that we are all doomed. People on the coast are going to drown. People in Malden will be up to their necks in snow. Power grids are going to go boink. Then we are detting hit by a meteorite and we will all vaporize. OMG what are we to do?

Watched a contract plower bury a fire hydrant, right after I had shoveled it out, used my neighbors snow blower to clear my driveway, I know the DPW will come by and bury it in again

The City drivers were fantastic but the contract guy sux. Why do they turn the plow in towards the parked vehicles? They only shovell it and throw back into street. Turn the plow on the non parking side and youll save alot of having to go over the street again. Every year the same crap. "Plow the Cars in" so whats the sence of parking one side? I wish there was enough city trucks where we could handle it ourselves. They do a great job.

It looks like this storm is costing Malden plenty of money for cleanup, and that this cost has far surpassed what the city had budgeted for snow removal (see Boston.com article link: http://www.boston.com/yourtown/news/malden/2013/02/malden_storm_clean_up_estimate.html)
