Watched a contract plower bury a fire hydrant, right after I had shoveled it out, used my neighbors snow blower to clear my driveway, I know the DPW will come by and bury it in again

The City drivers were fantastic but the contract guy sux. Why do they turn the plow in towards the parked vehicles? They only shovell it and throw back into street. Turn the plow on the non parking side and youll save alot of having to go over the street again. Every year the same crap. "Plow the Cars in" so whats the sence of parking one side? I wish there was enough city trucks where we could handle it ourselves.They do a great job.
