Malden's Arrests From Nov. 28 to Dec. 3

The following information was supplied by the Malden Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

 Monday, Nov. 28

  • Angelo DelGenio, 44, of 25 Elwell St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
  • Shamaria McCullough, 17, of 67 Whipple St. in Lowell, was arrested, no charge specified.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 29

  • Jatia Ellis, 17, of 37 McGreevey Way in Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery.
  • David Minasian, 23, of 56 Essex St., was arrested on an unspecified charge.
  • Karen Fitzpatrick, 44, of 235 Pearl St., was arrested on an unspecified charge.
  • Ralph Klein, 64, of 98 Laurel St., was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
  • Amaury Ramirez, 26, of 33 Levant St. in Dorchester, was arrested and charged with failing to stop for police.
  • Charles Reese, 38, of 23 Ripley St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 30

  • Paul Burns, 45, of 820 Mass Ave. in Cambridge, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
  • Brian Adamaitis, 57, of 91 Granville Ave., was arrested with an unspecified charge.

 

Thursday, Dec. 1

  • Hung Pham, 39, of Malden, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.
  • Janai Simon, 21, of 38 Almont St. in Malden, was arrested and charged with Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, Class d drug possession with intent to distribute, a drug violation near a school or park and the possession of an illegal knife. Jensen Eloi was also arrested in the search warrant raid, which turned up marijuana, Capt. Thomas Swanson said.
  • Grisel Velasquez, 47, of 15 Newbury St. in Boston, was arrested with on outstanding warrants.
  • Lescia Buford, 47, of 757 Shawmut Ave. in Boston, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

 

Friday, Dec. 2

  • No arrests reported.

 

Saturday, Dec. 3

  • Alexander Sirota, 61, of 112 Maple St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting.
  • Marcello Miranda, 25, of 265 Bryant St., was arrested and charged with intimidating a witness.

 

Sunday, Dec. 4

  • Ryan O'Brien, 42, of 525 Broadway, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
  • Edio Martinello, of 503 Broadway, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lines violation.

By chance was Ryan O'Brien arrested for assaulting his parents for naming him Ryan O'Brien?

Ha, according to the logs, it looks like the police were responding to a call about a fight outside of King's Petroleum. Doesn't definitively mean that's what was going down, though.

Does it seems that more people between the ages of 35 to 55 are being arrested or is the Patch just trying to give a large cross section of age from the police log?

Hey Erik - we make a point of including every name on the arrest list in order to be fair. So, no omissions. That generation has to clean up its act :)
