Malden resident Rachel Wisch will perform at the upcoming Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston.  She'll be dancing with the Boston-based dance group Zikukim, who will bring two exuberant horas to the Festival stage.  Ms. Wisch has performed with the group Sucaria in previous Israel Folkdance Festivals, and has also given time and effort to the Festival as one of the volunteers who make the Festival possible.

This year’s performance of the Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston will be on March 18th. This year’s event, which marks the double Chai (Life) anniversary of the festival, will be held at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium in Cambridge at 3:00 p.m. It should be a lively afternoon with 18 dance groups participating on the 18th of March for the 36th Festival.

The Festival will feature a range of Israeli dance styles including modern and traditional horas.  Tickets are $15 and are available on-line at www.bostonfestival.org or at the door on the day of the performance.  Student rush tickets are available for $5, one hour before the performance with college ID.  The Campus Activities Complex at MIT is the sponsor of the Israel Folkdance Festival.
