It was an emotional evening with lots of tears of joy, proud family members and friends in the audience, the graduates sharing stories, and a wonderful MC: Liz Hart of Tailored for Success!

As part of the ceremony, Found In Translation asked graduates the question "What did you find in translation?" as a play on our name.  The graduates' answers included "hope," "opportunity," "a new career," "friendships," and "thousands of new medical terms," among others.

Our graduates will be starting internships in May or June, and by the coming fall we hope to open the application process for our next round of strong, smart, driven bilingual women who want to become medical interpreters and lack the financial means to do so.

This, of course, depends on our ability to enough raise funds, so now is a crucial time for the public to donate, which anyone can do online through Found In Translation's web site.
