5 things you need to know today, Tuesday, Oct. 25.
1. More of the same: Tuesday will be sunny with highs in the upper 50s, with surprise gusts of up to 30 miles per hour possible. The evening will cool to lows around 40.
2. New blogger for dog-lovers: Say hello to Deanna MacMillan and her dog Mugsy, who are both featured in MacMillan's new Patch blog, “A Day in the Life of Mugsy.”
MacMillan shares stories, tips and – perhaps more importantly - hilarious pictures of Mugsy that canine enthusiasts are sure to love. Readers can feel free to upload their own dog pictures and share their stories, too.
3. Get ready for Dracula: The Council on Aging continues to offer free blood pressure checks, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily at its 7 Washington St. location.
4. Title 1 workshop at Forestdale School: Forestdale School will hold a workshop for parents Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m., aimed at providing emotional and academic support to children at home.
5. If Jeopardy doesn't do it like it used to: Check out the Dockside Restaurant at Riverview's Trivia Night starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday at it's 270 Medford St. location.
