Man Struck, Injured by Orange Line Train
The 22-year old victim was taken to Mass General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries Tuesday night.
Both MBTA and Malden Police responded to a reported trespasser struck by a train in the city around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday night, hospitalizing a victim with non-life threatening injuries.
Police received a report that an inbound Orange Line train had struck a trespasser right before the Mountain Ave. bridge near the Malden Center stop.
Upon arrival, they found a 22 year old male with his lower extremities stuck in the train, about a half mile before the stop.
It is not clear why he was on the tracks. MBTA police continue to investigate.

Talked to the 2nd EMT on the scene.....the man was hit by the train near the Clifton St. bridge. No blood....no guts. Just bumps and bruises.
