Thank you, Roberto, for an excellent job moderating and adding relevant questions to the mix of questions from the citizens.

I am not sure if I can trust raidsonline (the crime map) at this time, it is not matching up with what is on raw police data. I hope it does not fail like the last crime map program did. The current program gives the residents a false sense of security. We always need to be alert and keep our eyes and ears open.

The crime map is way too vague. In order for residents to have security and an understanding of their neighborhood, specific information is needed such as addresses of incidents and names of those involved. This will enable residents to be able to better track trends in crime. It needs to be clear who is being protected and serviced by withholding pertinent information related to specific incidents.

Um, yeah, wanting to know the names and addresses of people who are accused of being involved in a crime is not "tracking trends", it's "being a nosy busybody".

Just get a police scanner better than TV. Good idea but the only thing is misprint. Could be the guy next door and it pops up your address or mine.

Malden News Weekly online does a weekly arrest log if you're interested. You don't need to know the names of every person involved in every incident in which the police were called. That's crazy talk.

More police please Mr Mayor. We have one of lowest police officer per citizen ratios in Massachusetts. How many officers do we have now compared to ten years ago? Why is that? How come we lost all the grants that our neighboring cities have? I would love to hear from actual police officers and not administrators for the police department.

Im as old as dirt and lived here all my life but lookin back I remember when in the summer nights at least 1 out of 4 houses everyone sat out in there front porch and talked to there neighbors. I just was wondering if we all did that again more eyes and ears while having good conversations with your neighbors there would be less crime. Today we all lock ourselves in High stockade fences in our backyards not even knowing who your next door neighbor is. Oh well just reminising the days of yesteryear.
