Get your kids a free dinner: If your wallet took a hit checking out some new eateries during Malden's Restaurant Week, John Brewer's Tavern may have a solution - up to two kids per party eat free every Monday night, as long as an adult orders from the dinner menu.
But they can remember when it was a nickel: Looking for something to do on a rainy day? There's always Monday Movies from 1 to 3 p.m. at the John and Christina Markey Malden Senior Community Center, where the center airs recent releases. There is a suggested $1.50 donation.
In case you missed it: A Revere man charged with robbing some area banks - including Malden's Brookline Bank - is now suspected of carrying out a similar heist in Swampscott, police there said Friday.
