Linden students in the A to Z
University and Channel Surfing programs managed by the Partnership for
Community Schools in Malden worked together to support Housing Families’ “25
for 25” campaign.  First through third
grade students in the Community Service Club and sixth through eighth grade
students in the Youth Council club collected quarters and other money from each
classroom at the Linden School.  In just
a few weeks this spring, these students raised more than $200 to support
Housing Families.

The
Partnership for Community Schools in Malden is a non-profit organization that
was launched in the summer of 2000 to ensure that all of Malden's public
schools are accessible to, and utilized by, the entire Malden community.

PCSM oversees a multitude of services for residents of Malden, including
before-school, after-school, adult education and summer programs, as well as
some of the city's youth sports programs. www.maldencommunityschools.org

About Housing Families:

Celebrating 25 years of
service, Housing Families (HFI) was founded by community members concerned
about the growing crisis of homelessness among families in Malden, Everett and
Medford. Since then HFI has grown into one of the largest providers of family
shelter and affordable housing in Massachusetts.

Housing Families is
celebrating its 25 Anniversary with A
Family Affair Gala
on November 10th. For more information on
event tickets and sponsorships, visit www.housingfamilies.org
