- Survived by: children Nanci Hannon Glasser of Aurora, CO, Ellen Hannon of Dorchester, Michael Hannon of Hillsboro, NH, Kevin Hannon of Naples, FL and Mary Hannon Ortiz of Malden; and sister Maureen Roach of Holly Springs, NC.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late John J. Sr. and Eleanor (Coe) Hannon; and brother of the late Kevin Hannon.
Committal Services with Military Honors will be held on October 14, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to American Lung Association at www.lungusa.org. The Brasco and Sons Memorial of Waltham assisted the Hannon family with arrangements.
